Using Staff Styles in Finale
Apply your style.
Apply your Staff Style using the Staff tool.
After choosing the Staff tool (the treble clef icon in the main Tool Palette), select a section of music (even a partial measure) and right click. Then choose the Staff Style you want to apply to the selected music.

Use different Staff Styles for each part, or even each beat.
When applying Staff Styles, you can easily decide if a style should apply to a single part or your entire score. Simply select a section of music and in the Staff menu choose Apply Staff Style To or Clear Staff Styles From to add or remove Staff Styles. Remember -- you can select partial measures too!
Identify your style.
Display your Staff Style using the Staff Menu.
Once you've applied a Staff Style, use the Staff menu to select Show Staff Styles and Show Staff Style Names. You'll be able to easily see which sections of music use a Staff Style.
Personalize your style.
Define your own Staff Styles.
Choose Define Staff Styles within the Staff menu and use the dialog box to adjust every detail of an existing Staff Style. You can even create your own Staff Style from scratch!
